Werner is a technical orientated individual with a passion for people and business.He holds a Technical Diploma in IT from Technikon Natal and also carries certifications from Microsoft and The Open Group (Azure Solutions Architect and TOGAF 9.1). Werner has more than 22 years of experience in software engineering and architecture, which he gained across various verticals including retail, banking, finance, and medical aid administration.In his previous role, he was the Integration Architect for TFG where he guided integration developments with best practices and governed the SOA roadmap. At present, Werner a Senior Enterprise Architect at TFG Infotec for the Business Systems department which includes HR, Credit, and Business Intelligence after previously servicing eCommerce, stores, and CRM/Loyalty for two years. In terms of innovation for the TFG group, he has successfully hosted many solution showcases with partners at the annual TFG Innovation day. At present his main focus is to innovate around improving customer and employee engagement by leveraging new technologies such as Cloud, Robotics Process Automation, and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
