- Manage work flow of the fitting department, scheduling lead times and assigning duties as needed- Train apprentices on fitting procedures and processes- Specialized fitting of molds, deburr inserts and other mold parts, chamfer edges, polish cavities and assure precision fit to tolerance of .010 mm- Evaluate and inspect damaged molds returned for repair, then recommend solutions for refurbishing- Visit customers to repair molds on site- Customer technical support- Welding of mold and mold parts using both TIG and microscopic laser welder (Alpha Laser)- Manual mill and lathe, CNC lathe- Precision surface grinding to .010 mm
