Wes Colvin has 35 years of experience in information technology, new technology product development, transportation operations and material and cash logistics. Wes has served in senior executive level positions for more than 25 years guiding and shaping corporate strategy, product development and business automation strategies. For the past 10 years Wes has been the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer of a cash logistics enterprise that has grown to be the second largest in the U.S.Key technology projects Wes has managed into production are a cutting-edge graphics based routing and scheduling program and a paperless proof of delivery system that earned an award from the state of California. Other achievements include one of the earliest on-line, Internet based, proof-of-delivery systems for customers, and most recently an online electronic safe for retail customers that counts money stored for deposit. In addition to his industry experience, for the past 14 years Wes has also been part-time faculty for the University of La Verne. The courses he has taught are on information technology, telecommunications, networking, database design, decision support systems, systems planning and implementation, marketing and entrepreneurship to undergraduate and graduate students.He has an Executive MBA from the Claremont Graduate University where he studied under Peter Drucker. Wes also did graduate work at USC (MSIOM program) and undergraduate work at UC Riverside (Administrative Studies) and has a BS in Business from the University of La Verne. Certificates were earned from Cal Tech in Engineering Management, Technology Management and Project Management. His executive education also includes certificates and short programs from Harvard Business School, MIT, UCLA and California State Polytechnic University and UC Davis.
