•Accountable for the Picking shifts•Organise the workload in order to meet the despatch deadlines and department KPI•Working with the brands to follow up on queries in relation to picking•As part of the DC Management team, is required to respond to the needs of the business through effective planning and implementation alongside other depts. when required.•Ensure that the workplace complies with health and safety requirements at all times.•Communication of changes, needs or priorities either vertically or horizontally. This also includes communication with the brands as to the current picking situation and shift briefs.•Managing Resources; Reporting of Time and Attendance. Ensuring that the correct procedures are followed, (from recruitment to performance management), recorded and where necessary followed up creating an acceptable audit trail. •Submitting monthly reports detailing sickness, recruitment, holidays. There will also be a requirement to identify trends in activity, acting accordingly.
