Kusile Power Station Project

• As a Project Engineer on the Kusile Power Station Project, I was responsible for the following infrastructure:
• The fleet of medium voltage switchgear reticulating power at 15 and 6.6 kV.
• Twelve 110 MVA, 22/15 kV Unit Transformers supplying the station's bulk auxiliary power needs.
• Forty-two 15/6.6 kV Auxiliary Transformers ranging from 2.5 to 20 MVA in size.My primary responsibilities centred around designing these systems, which entailed:
• Analysing and interpreting end-user requirements.
• Compiling basic designs.
