I am a public relations and communications professional who prides myself on generating high-impact results and good value for my clients. With over 10 years of experience on the agency side, I’ve built, managed and optimized public relations programs that get my clients’ messages and stories in front of their key audiences through earned media – while being critical components of larger integrated marketing programs.Since 2012, I’ve served in several public relations management positions with Godfrey, one of the largest B2B marketing communications agencies in the United States. Working with leading industrial manufacturers in industries such as construction, HVACR and supply chain, I manage strategic media and influencer relations efforts to secure and execute editorial opportunities with trade media, and support clients at trade shows and special events. I also manage public relations content – such as news releases, case studies/customer success stories, thought-leadership articles, technical articles, press kits and podcasts – and measure program results to optimize efforts.Additionally, I work as a Red Cap at Strasburg Rail Road and volunteer with Virginia Museum of Transportation as part of the locomotive crew for steam engine #611.I graduated from Millersville University Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in speech communication and an option in public relations. As an undergraduate, I had an internship with University Communications & Marketing and was a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America.Beyond work, I'm always listening to and/or playing music (guitar and keys), stemming from my love of Grateful Dead (and bands like Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Phish, Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, The Allman Brothers Band, The Beatles and The Band - to name only a few!). You may also find me working on my O gauge model train layout or "railfanning" the real thing. I'm a Philly sports fan and always have high hopes, and sometimes get rewarded (see the 2008 Phillies and 2017 Eagles). I have two sweet guinea pigs named Panda and Patch. Beyond all else, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, whether it's going to a concert or ballgame, family vacation to Cape May or just catching up over food and drinks. And, a final fun fact - as a kid, my dream job was to be a storm chaser!
