-Perform audio/visual tests using rhesus macaque monkeys and collecting/organizing data using MATLAB.-Multi-sensory research seeking to accrue a better understanding of Macaque Monkeys processing of auditory and audiovisual motion/inputs.- Participation in weekly journal clubs allowing for discussion of emerging studies in the HMS (Hearing and Multi-Sensory) field with other lab members.- Obtained CITI certification, MATLAB R2023b proficiency certification, and IUPAC training for non-human primates.

Since joining the HPAO Tumor Board at Vanderbilt University in January of 2024, I have had plenty of excellent opportunities allowing me to gain a much broader understanding of medicine as a whole. More specifically I have expanded my knowledge of oncology, radiology, functioning parts of treating cancer, and hospital systems. Every other week I sat in on tumor board discussions, each meeting of 20-30 leaders in the field focuses on a new, relatively foreign, cancer. In treating cancer as it must be treated, unique to every individual, I have gained variable knowledge regarding cancerous masts/cells, furthering my understanding of how hospital systems interact with pharmaceutical companies and devise treatment plans. This experience also provided me with education in bedside etiquette. In bi-monthly lectures, I learned more about the biology/physiology of cancer to help me understand the cancers being discussed in the tumor board meetings I had the opportunity to listen in on. This mutual relationship between learning in lectures, and watching practitioners learn and discuss together has broadened my interest in cancer research and has been a great opportunity, increasing my overall interest in medicine.

- Acted as a on-call crisis responder for a community of 750+ students, providing support and intervention as needed.- Collaborated with a team of Resident Advisors to organize and facilitate weekly social, educational, and cultural programs for an eclectic community of 230 residents, fostering a sense of belonging and cultivating a community which promoted personal growth.- Completed over 100 hours of comprehensive training, including facilities management, supporting survivors of sexual assault, grief counseling, alcohol safety, diversity and inclusion, and the identification of signs of suicidal ideation, to enhance my skills and knowledge in student support and well-being.I counsel and advise residents in roommate conflicts, self-discovery, and personal awareness, while connecting them to campus resources when applicable. I organize and implement community events relevant to residents' needs and interests. In totality, I seek to ensure that all first-year Vanderbilt Students can grow as individuals, without the threats that exclusivity, unfamiliarity, and anxiety may pose. In doing so, I establish effective working relationships and collaborate with fellow students, faculty members, supervisors, and others within and beyond the Housing and Residential Experience.

-Opportunity to shadow various procedures operating on different parts of the body including the heart, brain, and lymph system (cancerous operations).-Engaged with patients Dr. Frazier operated on pre and post-operation. Gained a better understanding of bedside etiquette and how to go about designing a procedure. -Accrued familiarity with a plethora of medical terminologies. Watched and studied operating room habits/protocol, while learning more about MedTech and the relationship between private hospitals and medical technology businesses.

Investment group led by myself and six other members. Throughout my time in the group I have computed risk in equities, become familiar with liquidity management, and formalized my understanding of interest rates effect on the market. Being a full time student my interaction with the group currently looks like about 2 - 3 hours/week, not including the consistent upkeep of the group portfolio, as well as my personal portfolio, which have significant overlap. As former parliamentarian, and current vice president of Good $ense Club I have established rules of order for the investment group/portfolio, and have curated numerous presentations for perspective subsidiary portfolios adopting a similar model. Additionally, a majority of my work focuses on crafting and approving stock pitches to advance the interests of our group. As an entity, Good $sense Club strives to increase financial efficacy in underrepresented youth throughout the Chicagoland area, and beyond. Our work with institutions such as Chicago State University, Feed My Starving Children, Meals on Wheels, and many more, exemplify our commitment to educating and providing for underserved communities, the central use of Good $ense Club's capital.

- Mastered the importance of sample size, sociodemographic makeup, and the 'Do No Harm' principle when conducting clinical research through participation in descriptive, and thorough analysis sessions of professional research projects led by Ph.D students at Emory University. - Used Microsoft Teams to lead my research group of eight interns in creating and executing a successive, and actionable research project throughout a three-month-long project culminating in a final research paper, poster, and presentation.-Gained experience in setting team deadlines, explicitly defining workflow and expectations, and ascertaining and then assigning team members to tasks based on their unique strengths.- Furthered proficiency in networking through Medicine, making meaningful connections with researchers, faculty, and staff.

Since joining the FARE team in May I have had the exciting opportunity to work with a goal-driven, rapidly growing, team devoted to the promotion of a healthy lifestyle through new and exciting food. Working throughout the four locations in downtown Chicago, my primary role was consumer outreach and collection of consumer data. I cultivated relationships with various departments throughout the Northwestern Hospital, and their respective staff, in order to spread awareness regarding FARE’s 5$ off promotion. Within this promotion, I would schedule respective weeks for each department’s staff to come in and give FARE a try. In one week, my work on a collaboration with Northwestern’s NICU yielded 50 new customers, bringing weekly sales close to 1000 sales/week. Aside from working with Northwestern Hospital departments on promotions, I would also spend time engaging with and collecting data from, those ordering pickup and dining in at FARE. Using sociodemographic data, as well as customer responses to a variety of questions, I would sit down with FARE owners and investors to share my findings in an effort to continually renovate FARE’s marketing and advertising techniques. FARE, being a relatively new business allowed me the unique chance to see the ins and outs of a thriving, successful, small-scale eatery with big aspirations, and an even larger work ethic.
