In addition to my previous duties as an analyst/programmer, I upgraded, patched, and maintained the various components of the PeopleSoft stack. This required coordination with multiple teams each quarter to ensure that production downtime was kept to a minimum. During this time, I was nominated for Baylor's Outstanding Staff Award.

I led the finance tech team during our migration from PeopleSoft FSCM to Oracle ERP Cloud and assisted the data conversion process by writing ETL scripts to move data from our on-prem databases to the cloud using Node.js, REST APIs, and SOAP web services. I also built integrations between various third party systems and Oracle Cloud using Dell Boomi. To fill in gaps in web service access that the security team wasn't comfortable with, I orchestrated gateway nodes and wrote custom Groovy script policies for Oracle API Platform Cloud Service to allow more fine-tuned access to web service resources/methods and data.

I served as the primary developer during an implementation of PeopleSoft’s Grants module. When Oracle moved to a rapid release schedule, I spearheaded an effort to reduce invasive customizations by writing a custom framework that allowed component logic to be extended without modifying delivered objects. This resulted in a 95% reduction of customizations while retaining feature parity. I also injected JavaScript into custom components to make them more interactive while significantly reducing page refreshes.
