Manage a Branch Location/Team of Mortgage Consultants for Southeast Mortgage with Primary support to the NAMAR organization.

Independently originate mortgage loans through various sales channels including Internet, realtor referrals, builders and networking events. Conforming, Government, Alt A and Sub-Prime residential mortgage loans

Working with a team of BenchMark consultants, interviewed clients, observed, documented and presented workflow and process improvement recommendations to senior bank management. Process improvements identified resulted in improved service and a significant reduction in expenses. Assignments included home equity lending process for a top 50 bank, mortgage processing at another top 50 bank, default management measurements and financial/accounting related workflows for another financial institution.

Managed over 75 loan processors and supervisors, coordinating disclosures, ordering, review, closing, funding and post closing functions for consumer real estate loans. Consistently focused on service level performance and production capabilities in support of banking center lenders. Collaborated with senior management in developing and accomplishing departmental goals, including establishment of service level standards for different loan products offered.

Served in communications with Automated Valuation Modeling and other real estate service providers to keep abreast of latest improvements and acquire additional capabilities. Built automobile dealer network in assigned region and obtained dealer loan applications. Managed the loan decisioning process for all Branches in a centralized lending environment.

Examined applicants for registration as securities brokers and dealers in state of Florida. Interacted with applicants in collecting information. Reviewed simple securities offerings for state approval and compliance with applicable laws.

Interviewed applicants and made loan decisions for all types of consumer loans. As Senior Consumer Loan officer reviewed loan decisions for approximately 60 lenders.
