Risk Operations Fraud Specialist
Current-Creating policies and logic with Threatmetrix to combat fraud, account takeovers (ATO), credential stuffing attacks (CSAs), and other attacks across multiple classifieds markets and continents - Kijiji (Canada), Kleinanzeigen & Mobile (Germany), Benelux (consisting of Marktplaats in the Netherlands & 2dehands in Belgium), Subito (Italy), Gumtree (Australia), Milanuncios (Spain), and now onboarding Leboncoin (France)-Analyzing hundreds of thousands of lines of data from Threatmetrix with Python on a daily basis-Creating Tableau charts to plot numbers and metrics from the analyses, for management to better visualize the numbers and KPIs - essentially converting raw data into an easily understood "story"-Assisting with the integration of Akamai into the existing Threatmetrix framework -Creating filters with Regex to filter out suspicious ads and replies-Working with DevOps, InfoSec, and SiteOps to find a delicate balance between improving the user experience vs improving & maintaining our cybersecurity infrastructure-Answering escalations when user accounts encounter a problem with posting an ad or logging in-Collecting feedback from the various teams and marketplaces across the organization if they require a change or addition to the existing logic-Auditing existing logic to improve workflow and ensuring a low false positive rate to minimize impact on good users-Opening JIRAs to keep track of issues-Using Slack to communicate with coworkers and other team members across the organization-Facilitating meetings using Zoom and Google Meets
