I also worked with the Resiliency in Communities after Stress and Trauma (ReCAST), designed to assist high-risk youth and families and promote resilience and equity in communities that have recently faced civil unrest through implementation of evidence-based violence prevention, and community youth engagement programs, as well as linkages to trauma-informed behavioral health services.

As a project coordinator with the Healthy Minds Network, I have collaborated with team members to develop the Healthy Minds Study for Secondary Schools (HMS2), a online survey study assessing social and emotional well-being, mental health service utilization, and related factors among high school students. This study provides schools and school communities robust data about their students which may be used to inform and evaluate wellness programs, policies, and initiatives. I also serve as a study coordinator for the NIMH-RO1-funded study, "Harnessing Mobile Technology to Reduce Mental Health Disorders in College Populations", or "iAIM EDU". This study aims to test whether a mobile mental health platform, compared to usual care, is associated with an uptake as services as well as improvement in mental health outcomes. My primary responsibilities revolve around recruitment and retention efforts.

As Assistant Dance Director of the Saline Fiddlers Philharmonic, I teach high school student musicians percussive dance. The group primarily dances Appalachian-style clogging, and is also introduced to contemporary clogging, Irish, Canadian step-dancing, body percussion, English clog dancing and more. I collaborate with the director in teaching existing repertoire as well as choreographing new routines for the fiddlers to perform.

I joined Salt just before they opened their doors to the public. I was hired as a server, and shortly shifted to the bar, first as a bar back, then a bar tender. I was able to float in the FOH, learning new skill-sets in some roles and refining skills in others. In 2017, I cooperated with the general manager to develop a "bar manager" position and its related responsibilities. In this position, I helped to establish and enforce bar policy, standards of service, and best practices. I also developed a bar manual, trained new staff, maintained inventory and product orders, and more while working full time in service positions. It was a pleasure to grow in service and hospitality at Salt. I had found a very special culture and community at Salt, and wanted to share it with everyone who came through the doors.
