Whit is currently a graduate student at the University of Kansas. In the Spring of 2024, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Science in accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in French language & cultural studies. During his time at KU, Whit was a participant in the KU Business Leadership Program. This two-year program supplements the freshman and sophomore year studies of a selected cohort of business students from each graduating class. BLP students cultivate professional skills through a weekly lecture and several case competitions. The program culminates in a "second year project" presented to senior KU faculty. Whit is an alumnus of Beta Alpha Psi, KU's sole accounting student organization; Pi Delta Phi, KU's chapter of the national French honors society; Phi Kappa Phi, a multi-disciplinary national honors society; and Alpha Tau Omega, one of 11 recognized social fraternities on campus. He served as the KU chapter president of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honors society, in 2023.
