AID Atlanta• Performed a process evaluation of AID Atlanta’s Mpowerment intervention aimed at examining the impact of strategy and staff changes on the implementation of Mpowerment activities.• Analyzed monthly data reports using time series analysis methods to track changes occurring in the Mpowerment intervention over an 18-month period. • Completed key informant interviews to provide further explanation of changes reflected in the monthly reports of the Mpowerment intervention. • Created a 50-page summative report of the findings and presented them to AID stakeholders.Emory University, Office of Health Promotion Atlanta, GA• Performed a needs assessment to ascertain the current sexual and relationship violence prevention beliefs and norms on the Emory University campus, and identify gaps in sexual violence prevention aimed at Emory University undergraduate students.• Completed key informant interviews in order to get qualitative data concerning the beliefs of persons connected to the undergraduate student population at Emory University. • Designed survey instrument aimed at addressing the knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about sexual assaults of Emory University undergraduate students.• Created an 80-page summative report of the findings and recommendations to present to the invested stakeholders. Emory University, Be Healthy Research Project • Conducted over 200 research interviews investigating participants’ perceptions of neighborhood and associated HIV risk-taking behaviors.• Provided HIV counseling to participants through culturally competent techniques and administered Oraquick Rapid HIV tests to an average of 5 participants per day.• Performed systematic observations of designated, impoverished African American neighborhoods throughout Atlanta using GPS-based technology.
