At Moffitt Cancer Center, I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, researchers, and volunteers to support the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients undergoing bone marrow transplantation. I conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop care plans, provide crisis intervention, facilitate support groups, coordinate resources and referrals. I leverage my skills in grief counseling and group therapy to help patients and families cope with the challenges and uncertainties they experience on their cancer journey. I also participate in quality improvement projects and educational initiatives to enhance the delivery of patient-centered care.
