Profile bio

About Whitney Eulich

I'm The Christian Science Monitor's Latin America editor and correspondent based in Mexico City, overseeing Latin America regional coverage for CSMonitor.com and the weekly magazine. I report features, breaking news, and spotlight regional trends around human rights, governance, and culture. While working in the CSM Boston office from 2011-2014, I served as a staff writer and later the Latin America and Africa editor, curating the Latin America and Africa Monitor blogs in addition to managing coverage of these two diverse and important regions of the world. I was part of a team of two staffers writing daily content for the Security and Terrorism vertical. Prior to joining the Monitor, I worked as a freelance radio reporter and producer. In 2011 I received my Master's in International Affairs, with a focus on human rights, conflict resolution, and journalism. As a freelancer, my work has been aired or published on PBS The NewsHour online, NPR's Latino USA, Univision, U.S. News and World Reports, NHPR's Word of Mouth, The Carnegie Council's Policy Innovations, Radio Bilingue, among others.

Listed skills include Journalism, International Relations, Spanish, Blogging, and 18 others.
