Currently working as the Senior Buyer for Ladies Fitness Apparel at Mr Price Sport I have 10 years retail experience having joined the Mr Price Group in 2014. I have 6 years experience as a merchandise planner for both homeware and fitness apparel departments which gave me a solid retail foundation and taught me invaluable skills with regards to strategy, KPI management and overall merchant capabilities. I then transitioned into Buying in 2020 and have been buying the Ladies Fitness Core range since early 2021. In January 2024 I was promoted to Senior Buyer and now lead a team of 3 other buyers. Buying has allowed me to blend my skills as a merchant, grow a large department and continually introduce non-comp areas of growth and opportunity. My key strengths lie within strategy development and execution and developing new processes and structures within the department to optimize the value we can pass on to customer.
