Kids' Meals’ mission is to end hunger among preschool-aged children by delivering free, healthy meals to the doorsteps of poverty-stricken children aged five and under. Though there are many other agencies addressing food insecurity in children, preschool-aged kids often fall through the gap. These social service programs may ensure that older children receive free lunch at school, but hunger also plagues young children not yet enrolled in school —the children we serve. Kids’ Meals is the only “meals-on-wheels” program in the nation serving impoverished preschool-aged children.
