I have a deep passion for learning that I intend to continue doing throughout my career and lifetime. I graduated with a M.S. in Human Resource Development from UT Tyler. I currently work at the University of Texas at Dallas as an Academic Advisor III in the School of Economic, Political and Policy Sciences. Prior to my current position, I worked as an Academic Advisor II and Adjunct Instructor within the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science at UT Dallas as well. I was promoted to Lead Advisor for Electrical and Computer Engineering while working in that position. Before moving to the metroplex, I worked at the University of Texas at Tyler as an Academic Advisor I within the College of Arts and Sciences. I formerly worked at Tyler Junior College as an Academic Advisor within the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I work well both independently and with others. My graduate education has also afforded me excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and problem solving abilities. I'm excellent at forming and maintaining customer relationships, experience with sales, and am accustomed to maintaining composure in stressful environments.
