I am the President and CEO of the Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation. This organization has been in Cincinnati for over 105 years. CSF has awarded over $65,000,000 in scholarships to more than 40,500 students in Greater Cincinnati. These scholarships are funded by individuals, corporations and businesses, foundations, and nonprofit organizations. We award scholarships for workforce development, associates, bachelor's and post-bachelor's degrees from over 140 different scholarship funds.

I was the Director of Gift Planning at Ohio Living Mount Pleasant, Cape May, Quaker Heights and Llanfair locations, which are part of 12 Life Plan Communities at Ohio Living. Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice program has provided home health and hospice services to more than 67,000 people in the state of Ohio. Ohio Living is a non-profit organization, therefore they invest net profits into the organization. Of particular note, once a resident enters Ohio Living, the resident will never be asked to leave because of lack of ability to pay. This is called the Ohio Living Life Care Commitment. Not only does the Ohio Living Foundation raise funds to fulfill the Life Care Commitment but also for non-revenue generating projects, programs and buildings that enhances the lives of the residents who live at the campuses, such as nature trails, wellness centers, arboretums, courtyards and chapels.I also served as the initial gift planner for Ohio Health's Home Health and Hospice program in Southwest Ohio and the Miami Valley areas. Working with a group of hospice and foundation staff, we developed this one time concept into our existing fundraising program to enhance the wonderful services that our hospice staff provide.
