There is an emotional, physical, and environmental impact created with each building we build and the spaces we create. As designers and building professionals, we have a responsibility to make each place the best it can be for the people who live in it, the community it serves, and the land it sits on.As a Principal at VCBO Architecture, I am an advocate for sustainable design and provide expertise in the design and documentation process for sustainable buildings. I have extensive experience in programming, facility planning, and community master planning, and embrace a holistic design approach that ensures that functionality, flexibility, and durability are at the forefront of the projects that I work on. I graduated in 2005 with a Master's degree in Architecture and a focus in Community Design from Montana State University and in 2015 with a Master’s of Real Estate and Development from the University of Utah. In my spare time, I teach two courses, Site Design and Sustainable Development, as an Adjunct Professor with the University of Utah City and Metropolitan Planning Department.
