Planned and executed programs and events for youth in three public library branches. Managed online community of 600 incoming graduate students including responding to forum discussions and planning activities to promote engagement.

I supported the research environment on campus by identifying extramural funding opportunities for faculty and distributing the information via e-mail, an electronic newsletter, and other channels. I coordinated visits from agency officers, planned workshops and presentations about contracts and grants, and maintained the research development section of the office website. I wrote, edited, and designed various promotional materials including an undergraduate research brochure, agency highlight sheets, and research at a glance brochures. I also coordinated the campus Undergraduate Research Blog (http://ucsbundergradresearch.wordpress.com).

I contributed to all aspects of running the library at an independent K-8 school library, including cataloging books, preparing and conducting library classes, developing displays, and connecting students with library materials.
