Working in Inside Sales at Brighte gave me the opportunity to adapt and work on a variety of projects as the business grew and changed. When I started my role, I qualified new businesses, onboarded and trained the directors and agents of those businesses and maintained relationships with them. In six months, I went from $0 in sales and no clients to over $500,000 in sales and had built my own portfolio of small businesses. Following some changes within the business my role changed and I was tasked with responding to all inbound calls and making outbound cold calls to sign up new businesses and support our national business development team.The opportunity to work with lots of amazing people in different divisions and watch Katherine grow her business was my favourite part. I transferred to Narrabri to start work as the Analyst for two AgriBusiness Managers.My job objective was to maintain and grow my managers portfolios. I would help their clients with day to day banking needs, organise the documents for their loan renewals, assist customers with the leasing of new equipment, arrange their corporate cards as well as complete KYC and the setup of portfolios for new business customers. Moree is NAB’s largest regional Agribusiness bank with over $1 billion worth of loans.Training as a graduate in Moree I was exposed to large scale farming businesses to local town shops. This exposed me to business banking and agribusiness banking working with 3 managers who had both farming and non-farming businesses in their portfolios. During my time in this role, I was taught the fundamentals of agribusiness banking.
