• Designed, researched, and advised the strategy for the first two iterations of a new Citi Foundation initiative, the Global Innovation Challenge. For the inaugural Challenge on Food Security in 2023, I devised guidance and provided background research on the four sub-topics: Access, Affordability, Availability, and Community Resilience. For the 2024 Challenge on Homelessness, I conducted research on issues in housing security to contextualize the examples used in the guidelines.• Served as the Foundation’s relationship manager for the eight Global Innovation Challenge grantees primarily serving US communities and connected them to different resources within Citi, including Community Relations and Citi Volunteers.• Established the agenda and led monthly Program Officer meetings to share Foundation-specific programmatic and grants management related developments and updates with the entire team. • Served as the main relationship manager for the Foundation’s membership organizations. Activities included: tracking, requesting, and receiving invoices for payment processing; maintaining an overview document of the list of membership organizations, their benefits, and registration instructions; and sending recommendations on specific programs and resources from the membership organizations that are custom tailored to each Program Officer’s professional interests.• Oversaw efforts to improve Voice of Employee survey results, an annual internal employee satisfaction survey. Activities included: presenting a summary of the survey results; facilitating two focus groups to discuss how to improve survey results; and implementing two successful ideas: words of gratitude at the end of Program Officer meetings and a series of introductory presentations featuring different units within Community Investing and Development (e.g. Citi Impact Fund).

The Government Innovation team helps city halls build the teams and develop the skills needed to creatively tackle their most urgent challenges. By expanding local government’s creative capacity, Bloomberg Philanthropies bolsters the ability of mayors and other city leaders to set bold agendas, bring the experiences of residents into their work, and partner with the private and non-profit sectors from a position of strength.My achievements: • Oversaw the successful invitation and selection process for the first four classes of mayors under the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative. For each annual class of approximately 40 mayors: developed the eligibility criteria, updated a research database of candidate mayors to invite, invited over 150 mayors to apply per application cycle, and coordinated the application review and selection process for the list of mayors to be admitted into the program each year.• Assisted in organizing two successful cross-sector convenings under the Bloomberg Aspen Initiative on Cities and Autonomous Vehicles. Each convening brought together over thirty experts from the local government, business, non-profit, and labor sectors to help city planners prepare for the advent of autonomous vehicles. • Provided strategic and logistical guidance to five technical assistance and an evaluation partner in the first phase of What Works Cities, enabling the program to surpass its goal of working in 100 US cities within three years.• Managed over $116 million in grant agreements, service provider agreements, and gift terms related to What Works Cities and the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative in conjunction with the grants team.• Modernized a database of cities that worked with the Government Innovation team to track project results and impact.

• Coordinated the grants management process for seven CSH teams by drafting, editing, and submitting letters of inquiry, concept papers, full proposals, budgets, thank-you letters, and interim and final reports. • Researched, analyzed, and tracked government, corporate, and foundation donor prospects for presentations. • Served as the Fund Development lead in sponsorship fundraising for CSH’s inaugural Supportive Housing Summit in Chicago, IL in 2015. Created a sponsorship level benefits overview for solicitation requests and led the process to submit sponsorship requests to over 260 companies, vendors, and corporate foundations. Development team raised over $160,000 from over 40 sponsors, surpassing the $140,000 fundraising target. • Conducted literature reviews of evidence-based models for serving different segments of the homeless population: veterans, the elderly, families, youth in foster care, and frequent users of emergency departments.

Unconventional by nature, the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs consists of a rigorous leadership development curriculum, along with six full-time, month-long consulting placements in the government, electoral politics, labor, business, and non-profit sectors, culminating with an independently selected placement. • NYC Department of Education: Wrote online content for the Empowering Boys Initiative under the Young Men’s Initiative. • United Federation of Teachers: Canvassed and campaigned for Joseph Addabbo Jr.’s successful State Senate re-election.• AFSCME DC 1707: Compiled non-unionized daycare worker data for outreach and re-organizing efforts.• Contact Fund: Designed a community landscape map of non-profit organizations in New York City for social impact investors.• New York Cares: Wrote twelve-page report that prompted organization-wide adoption of Salesforce database.• Collegiate School: Authored a nine-page report of recommendations for how the school’s community of students, faculty, and parents should enter into a partnership with the surrounding low-income, public housing neighborhood. • Conceived, designed, and pitched a winning social entrepreneurship business plan to Echoing Green with three Fellows.• Facilitated and led group interviews with leaders from the government, business, and non-profit sectors (e.g. New York Life, Con Edison, Harlem Children's Zone).
