With the onset of COVID-19, I partnered with an AI researcher to quantify COVID-19 misinformation on social media, and further the precision of a misinformation monitoring infrastructure. To achieve this, we collaborated wth the UC Berkeley Human Rights Center — a project funded by the CITRIS & Banatao Institute.

UCOOK is South Africa’s leading subscription meal-kit delivery service, where I led the product development and operational implementation of two new business verticals: frozen meals and wine. • Developed the wine business plan from ideation, to validation, to board approval• Developed wine campaigns, secured partners, and negotiated deals that achieved a 60% margin improvement over the nationwide wine ecommerce norm• Developed the roadmap for both the wine and frozen meals verticals and drove company-wide operational implementation• Led the research and development of a new range of frozen meals in a project management capacity• Defined the requirements of a new backend platform, and partnered with engineering leaders to validate scope

In my third, and final, role at Cybercellar, I was able to: • Improve the Net Promoter Score by 1.4X • Reduce stock-holding by 22% • Improve gross margins by 2.5%Having in my prior role, as Marketing Manager, identified poor stock management practices to be a prominent cause for customer churn, I led the redesign of supply and demand planning, led the smooth operational transition to a new inventory management system, and partnered with engineering leaders to develop automations for improved efficiency and error tracking. I additionally executed wine buying, and was supported by a procurement and analytics team of 3.
