The NAHSS is a national, interdisciplinary honours program that annually provides 100 of the most excellent students of the Netherlands with the opportunity to discover Asia. As member of the Program Board I was responsible for organizing the NAHSS 2016. As Program Board, I was fully committed to the program for a period of one year and was coached on a weekly basis by McKinsey & Company, PwC and Utrecht University. Part of my responsibilities and accomplishments were:► Set up and coordinated consultancy projects with AkzoNobel, FrieslandCampina, PwC, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and several others. Furthermore, discussed financing and organization with 14 public and private organizations and evaluated previous editions. ► Created multiple long-term strategies for the program in cooperation with McKinsey consultants and presented updates and future plans to the Supervisory Board, composed of CEO's of multinationals like PwC, Rabobank and McKinsey & Company, heads of universities and Secretary-Generals of Ministries.► Arranged and coordinated the stay, company visits and summer school in July 2016 for 20 students in Taiwan. Set up a tailored program for NAHSS students in cooperation with the National Chengchi University.► Managed the alumni network of the NAHSS. Supervised the Alumni Committee and set up a new recruitment event for 11 NAHSS partners and 65 alumni at the head office of AkzoNobel.

Zwolle

For my bachelor thesis, I conducted research on the cooperation between public and private partners in a regional platform for crime control. In the end, I made some recommendations about how to improve their cooperation. I performed this research while doing an internship at the police corps of the east of the Netherlands, located in Zwolle.

As part of a multidisciplinary think thank I conducted a research for PwC. The research focused on the barriers Chinese companies face, when setting up a business in the Netherlands.
