Hq Professional Services Manager
Current- Leading a global team of 20+ professional services engineers based in 4 countries (USA, Canada, Belgium and the Netherlands).- Supervising all global activities related to the design/development and delivery of Data Migration Services, Advanced Customization and Integration Services within the Agfa HealthCare Services organization. These services complement the Agfa solutions portfolio by applying the latest software engineering technologies, standards and best practices.- Organizing the professional services teams and processes in order to implement a true Global Service Delivery Model, i.e. the optimum combination of processes, end-to-end methodologies and quality procedures, with high-quality skills and resources, in requisite quantities, on a global basis, that enables Agfa to maximize the quality of their solutions while minimizing the overall cost and delivery time of their services.- Serving as the frontline manager on projects, discussing technical and non technical aspects of projects, and ensuring projects are delivered in a timely fashion in accordance with project requirements. - Developing strong relationships with clients.- Stimulating the design and development of new customer-centric value-added services depending on market evolutions and needs in the field of healthcare IT and medical imaging according to the best practices (ITIL, COBIT, SDLC) and in compliance with regulatory requirements.- Supporting national and regional healthcare IT projects from pre-sales to services delivery, with a strong focus on the existing healthcare standards (HL7, DICOM) and on the interoperability initiatives like IHE (e.g. FHIR, IOCM, XDS, XDS-I, XUA, BPPC). - Fostering tighter collaboration between PS team members and R&D experts in order to avoid double efforts and to contribute to standardization initiatives (work groups, connectivity marathons).
