Threatgrid — malware analysis

Using Clojure, Hazelcast, and Datomic I developed our primary multi-node production system hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services) and then migrated to GCE (Google Compute Engine).Interesting challenges included ensuring both HIPAA compliance and complete auditability of all user actions with Datomic.Created a real-time provider dashboard and backend support in Clojure/ClojureScript which allowed doctors to configure and track patient measures using custom workflows and get signaled when thresholds or statistical constraints were met.Our primary application, Orchestra, was used for clinical patient care and packaged for the web, iOS, and Android. It was deployed in several hospitals including The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

Developed a technique to intelligently filter streams of tweets and Twitter users in order to generate comprehensive and actionable insights which could be used by brands to strengthen their marketing efforts.Created an embedded R client which could execute within a JVM process, so I could reuse legacy R code in an attempt to move our data science development over to a primarily Clojure workflow.Deployed servers on AWS, Digital Ocean, and Datomic databases with DynamoDB.
