Hello, my name is William and I have over 5-years of experience in epidemiological research methods, global health policy, project management, statistical analysis, global health financing, global health diplomacy, and international treaty negotiations. My professional interests include real-world evidence (RWE), pharmacoepidemiology, oncology outcomes research, and global health governance. My goal is to make the world healthier and more equitable for all and all to come.I am currently a medical evidence study lead with the Global Oncology Outcomes Research (O2R) team at AstraZeneca. Here I am part of the GI oncology therapy area leading the planning and execution of RWE studies and projects in the hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) space. I was previously a policy analyst with the Office of International Affairs for the Canadian Health Portfolio, Government of Canada where I supported the Government of Canada's engagement with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), the Region Office of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the Americas, on global health programming, financial accountability, and organizational governance issues. I also support Canada’s overall positioning on key public health issues across the United Nations and Inter American Systems.
