As a Vice President with The Heartland Group, I am dedicated to selecting, developing, and mentoring Financial Advisors. With my early success as an Advisor, I mentor others for their growth and continued success here at Then Heartland Group. I grew up in Chicago and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Finance at The University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana. I have also successfully completed a 2 year training program focused on management at The John Hancock Institute. I am currently continuing my education at The American College of Financial Planning enrolled in the Certified Financial Planners Program. (CFP program) Prior to joining The Heartland Group I was a sales manager for Transamerica. I am a member of The National Association for Insurance and Financial Advisors and GAMA. The reason I am so passionate about being a Financial Planner, is because my father died when I was 10 years old, my mother had 12 children and very little insurance or savings. I saw the financial impact it had on her and my siblings and wanted to be able to prevent this situation for other families. I feel that I am called to share my education and experiences with the community around me and be a source of support for those in unique financial situations.
