Unmanned Aircraft Maintenance Lead

I worked as a deployed OCONUS site maintenance lead. I was in charge of that sites’ maintenance team as well as working in conjunction with the site lead to handle logistics. My daily duties included:- performing crew chief duties to include launch and recovery of aircraft and all phases of aircraft maintenance. - Train and evaluate incoming mechanics to the standard as set forth by the company. - Maintain thorough maintenance logs to track aircraft and component hours, as well as monitor for any deficiencies in aircraft performance. - Track inventory and logistical needs to ensure that all necessary parts and equipment were on hand or could be ordered when necessary. - Perform aircraft and equipment modifications with the assistance of the offsite engineering department. - In addition to regular maintenance duties, I was also the site technical inspector and was the final signing authority to clear an aircraft as ready for flight.
