  • Raiser
    Founder
    Raiser Jul 2024 - Present
Raiser builds simple, powerful and practical solutions to the unique challenges of leading small charities.❤️ My career in the charity sector has given me a deep love for the hard-working heroes that make life better for people, place and planet. 😡 But it has also given me a deep frustration with the inefficiencies and challenges existing at all levels within the sector, where work for the common good is so often restricted by governance and funding difficulties. 📈 With two other fresh-thinking amigos, I founded Raiser to bring innovation and design-thinking to the sector, use technology to tackle some of the most pernicious and persistent challenges, and help charities and donors raise their game, together.🪶 If you'd like to be part of the Raiserlution (and share my love of bad puns) then grab your quill and get in touch.
  • For Goodness Sake
    Fundraising Consultant
For Goodness Sake Sep 2022 - Present
For Goodness Sake helps small charities not just survive but thrive. After a career spanning 15 years in user-facing and leadership roles in charities, I took some specialist training as a fundraiser, (achieving a distinction on the CIOF Diploma), and set up For Goodness Sake to support the small but mighty charities which make up the majority of the sector. This unique blend of experiences, of both finding (and spending!) money in small charity settings, lets me give my clients a fully rounded consulting service:🤦🏻‍♂️ Coaching and mentoring: if you're an overwhelmed small charity Chief Everything Officer, I've been there!🚀 Fundraising strategy: I'll help you build everything you need to fundraise effectively, starting with why, what and how much 💰✍🏻 Bid-writing: most small charities need grants to get going and sustain operations while other forms of support develop. I can help you find prospects, write or review bids for you, and get that pipeline pumping!Since setting out I have worked with a range of arts, youth, health, education, community and heritage causes. Maybe my next client will be you! 🤞
