This programme used an evidence-informed co-design process to promote greater multiagency collaboration to make a more inclusive local education system with reduced rates of preventable exclusions.I helped coach and support senior leaders from Oldham Local Authority, School and Health partner organisations as they led collaborative interventions to reduce exclusions. I was lead author for the final report, and helped facilitate panel discussions at the launch event at RSA House in October 2024.

Over a period of 8 years I grew this CYP nonprofit from a turnover of £45 - £300k. I was responsible for overseeing our long-term strategy to grow the reach and impact of our transformative Character Mentoring curriculum with as many disadvantaged young people as possible. I led a team of gifted and committed staff and volunteers whose development I supported in line with my personal as well as our organisational vision to see all people fulfil their potential.

I oversaw the establishment and leadership of new groups and projects for young people aged 11-18 & 18-30 at this newly reopened Anglican church, and within the local community. Through close ongoing dialogue with the stakeholders (young people, parents, teachers, youth workers) I sought to build each project in a sustainable and user-oriented way.I also provided long-term support to a rough sleeper seeking housing. This included coordinating multi-agency meetings, advocacy of the case before the local MP and the development of a local support network for the individual to complement the statutory housing and care provision which I helped secure for him.

I held overall responsibility for the output of a bi-monthly online magazine with over 2000 alumni subscribers. This involved coordination between writers, photographers and the Content Editor, as well as all design and typesetting. I also regularly contributed opinion pieces on topics relevant to the core readership (young adults).

I founded this theatre company to explore the changing roles of men and masculinity in modern society. Our three sell-out productions attracted private and public funding and positive media coverage.'Lost In Mozart' by Jeff Nottingham. Arts Council funded production performed at The Space Venues, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011 and at London's Tabernable Theatre, Notting Hill.'(Don't) Look Back in Anger? Modern re-imagining of John Osborne's classic. Performed as part of the Free Fringe, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2010.'On Religion' by Mick Gordon & A.C. Grayling. I set up a new arts cafe in an Anglican church, then had oversight of the business and creative direction of the venture. This involved:- initial set-up, design and decor of the cafe- menu-planning and establishment of supply contracts- recruitment and training of staff- community outreach and inclusion of vulnerable adults as cafe volunteers- coordination of art, music and poetry events in cafe

I was engaged to conduct a new piece of research into the way the UK press were reporting the Human Fertility & Embryology Act (2008). I helped to organise the monthly lecture series held at the Institute which attracted notable speakers such as Prof. Neil Scolding, Lord Justice Maurice Kay and Dr Tom Pink.

While studying for my bachelor's degree I was part of the public-facing staff of the theatre ensuring all aspects of customer service were delivered to an excellent standard. Additionally I had responsibilities as a fire marshall and cellar manager.

I planned and delivered sections of lessons under the supervision of the PE and Drama teachers. My responsibilities included: - coaching football, rugby, cricket for 8-13 year olds- organising fixtures with neighbouring schools- helping to coordinate end of term plays.
