I am a researcher in the fields of Molecular Biology and Physical Chemistry. I have a strong background in the physical chemistry that describes colloidal systems and nanoparticle characterisation techniques. My work focuses on applying these fundamental insights into colloidal systems for the development of novel DNA/RNA extraction technologies for use in both point-of-care and laboratory settings. I have several years’ experience working with small biotech start-ups in product development roles. My goal is to utilise this experience to develop and translate new technologies that help scientists and laboratory workers in the fields of molecular biology, genetics, and pathology.
