Brief: I lead a team of analysts & program architects responsible for Qualtrics' internal EX program strategy, helping Qualtrics be our own best customer in EX:-- Owning the overall governance & strategy of how we listen to and engage with our people; ensuring Qualtrics has the right policies, processes, systems, technology, and resourcing to understand employees across all of the moments that matter in the employee lifecycle-- Leading EX methodology for Qualtrics' People team, supporting survey design and deployment, conducting maturity model and value assessments of Qualtrics' >200 internal listening touch-points-- Leading workforce analytics and people research; developing predictive models for attrition, burnout, and other employee outcomes; building distributed insights frameworks, from ad hoc reports to unified dashboards used by hundreds of people managers across all geos & business units-- Partnering with the CHRO, CEO, COO, and the broader executive leadership team to understand what data tells us about our people; informing strategic decisions impacting our employees, from major policy & workforce changes (IPO, Covid management, RTO, multiple acquisitions, going public to private, workforce reduction and restructurings) to real-estate assessments and benefits conjoint analyses, and everything in-between-- Supporting Qualtrics' EX tech-stack and process integration with numerous other people data systems; designing workflows that ensure we minimize friction, reduce admin burden, and help our data talk to each other-- Redesigning Qualtrics' peer-peer multi-rater assessment program (360) and the performance, development, promotion, and feedback processes-- Working with our product, engineering, and UX teams to "drink our own champagne", developing and testing new products and features for our EX product suite-- Working with sales leaders and GTM teams to help our customers understand what EX looks like at Qualtrics

-- Helped Qualtrics close gaps in the employee experience (EX) by analyzing employee data and democratizing insights across the business-- Technical administrator for many of our internal Employee Experience (EX) programs, including Onboarding, Quarterly Pulses, Continuous Listening, Exit, and many others; lead the evolution of our EX program strategy through an acquisition (SAP) and an IPO-- Worked closely with our EX product teams and SMEs to ensure that Qualtrics drinks our own champagne as "EX Customer Zero"-- Lead Qualtrics' frequent check-in program as we transitioned 3k+ employees from mostly in-person to fully remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic-- Lead the implementation of Qualtrics' HRIS reporting platform (SAP SuccessFactors)-- Developed the IMPAQT Leadership Development program, a 5-day bootcamp preparing junior employees for future management roles; delivered >250 hrs of instruction to 400+ participants in 12 classes, representing 15 different offices across 3 business regions

-- First employee hired as part of the new People Analytics team-- Developed scalable delivery of People Team processes; reduced turnaround time for quarterly dashboard reports from 6 weeks to 2 days; built an internal ticketing system that reduced resolution time by 85% (from 4 days to 15 hours on avg.) with 98% requests meeting SLA-- Lead the design and implementation of several key listening programs, including Onboarding and Exit; significantly reduced workload on People business partners (~1.5 FTE) and facilitated touch-points with >1,800 employees at critical moments in the employee lifecycle-- Invented the CORE 5 / CARES leadership model, a construct that measures the 5 manager behaviors most strongly related to employee outcomes; based on Russ Laraway's Manager Effectiveness Index (read: "When They Win, You Win")-- Built monthly headcount, attrition, and DEI reports for executive staff-- Founded the Qualtrics Green Team, ERG focused on sustainability

-- Assisted clients in all manners of technical issues for the Qualtrics XM platform, from technical support to data collection and reporting assistance-- Specialized in the Employee Engagement product and associated dashboards, helping clients better understand and deliver impact in Employee Experience (EX)-- Resolved >3,000 customer issues with an average CSAT of 4.89-- Lead a myriad of special projects, including helping mature Qualtrics' internal EmployeeXM program from a single annual pulse to a robust, always-on listening program-- Learned how to break (and fix) the Qualtrics platform in ~1,000,000 different ways-- Realized I wanted to have transformational (not just transactional) relationships with my customers; did something crazy and helped stand up the People Analytics team, at the time a startup within a startup

-- Instructed Indiana University students in a wide variety of for-credit, outdoor recreationcourses, from outdoor living skills and wilderness ethics to rock-climbing and whitewater sports. Explored the science building natural anchors, the art of hauling kayaks on roadtrips, and the zen of whisperlite stove maintenance.-- Planned and prepared trips for groups of 8-16 university students in coordination with other trip leaders. Learned to love the details.-- Helped students develop confidence and competence in outdoor activities and stoke their love of "just getting out there". Met some wonderful people and made some lifelong friends.

-- Led alumni outreach operations with a team of six chairpersons. Learned when to lead, when to delegate, when to ask questions, when to say nothing at all.-- Oversaw fundraising activities for 70+ committee members. Some of the most wonderful people, working together in support of a selfless cause.-- Increased alumni committee fundraising by 105% YoY to $120K and assisted the organization at large in raising over $4 million annually in support of Riley Hospital for Children.-- IUDM is the second-largest student-lead philanthropy in the country; raised $12M from 2015-2018, of which my committee contributed >$300K over that time period. The monetary achievement pales in comparison to the opportunity to just be a part of something really special.
