About Will Baker

I work extensively as a trainer, facilitator and consultant, designing and delivering training courses on a diverse range of subjects ranging from management and leadership development to soft skills. My particular specialism lies in subjects connected to promoting respect and positive behaviour, equality, diversity and inclusion and preventing bullying and harassment. I have worked in person and virtually with a wide variety of clients in multiple industries across the world. I also have a long history of volunteering. My particular interests have been in the criminal justice system and the independent monitoring of the treatment of people in immigration detention. This latter role has included monitoring the deportation / enforced removal process, accompanying detainees being removed to other parts of world and recently in helping to establish a new Monitoring Board at the Port of Dover, training prison and immigration monitors across the UK and being a member of the Management Board of the Independent Monitoring Boards. I have also volunteered as a member of the Lord Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Justice of the Peace (appointing magistrates) and as a Young Offender Panelist (working with restorative justice).
