This includes the management of key accounts, as well as devising an annual fundraising strategy in line with the anticipated growth of the Foundation. In conjunction with the Managing Director I actively build and sustain relationships within both the golf industry and military network to raise awareness of organisational objectives to increase fundraising potential. My role also involves the planning and delivery of one off fundraising events as well as attending various networking events, presenting to and meeting potential donors. I continue to plan and deliver part of the nationwide programme or events, albeit in a smaller capacity than in my previous position. I still view this as a vital part of my overall role as I see the importance of spending face-to-face time with the beneficiaries of the Foundation, keeping in contact and actually seeing first-hand how the funds that have been raised are used.
