Whilst working for Aviva as a Test Engineer, I have been involved in a number of projects across several systems. My most recent projects have revolved around the Aviva Pensions platform hosted by FNZ, and have involved testing and scripting of all areas of the system including UI, Pension illustrations, Income Drawdown and payroll processing, UFPLS, document / output composition and finance reporting. As well as this I took a leading role in training and management of new 3rd party resource starting in the UK for the first time, and provided full training, support and guidance in testing on the Aviva platform. I also acted as UAT lead for the most recent release to the platform, working with a team of 4 business operations based testers and providing updates back to the project on their progress. Over my time with Aviva I have gained the ISTQB Foundation certification, a basic knowledge of agile methodologies, stakeholder management and experience of working with Jira, Confluence and HP Quality Centre as well as a working knowledge of SQL queries. Other projects I have worked on within Aviva are: • I acted as the sole tester of the implementation of an appointment booking tool for Friends Life (now Aviva)’s life insurance platform• Re-price activity and subsequent calculations testing for Life Insurance pricing and reassurance rates. • MI testing for new Bank partners migrating from a decommissioned platform as well as taking part in regular conversations with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels. • A refresh of the Group protection e business platform.

Providing Sales Support to both field based and telephone account managers. Assisting with telephone sales campaigns, appointment setting, and lead generation. Providing personalised service for large IFA firms, as well as relationship management between field based account manager visits. Product literature stock management, fulfilment and budget management.
