I help students succeed in the two statistics courses required for most majors at Carroll. This includes data modeling, visualization, hypothesis testing, and other statistical methods. I help students do this on both Microsoft Excel and Python

I worked with the customer experience and continuous improvement teams throughout the summer. I identified accounts with large growth opportunities and devleoped a strategy to better market to them that ultimately led to more sales. I helped lead a project to maximize space utilization across two warehouse locations. The project resulted in over 2 truckloads of new inventory space; this allows for bulk buys of product at discounted prices. I also had the opportunity to draft a new customer welcome letter, create a detailed sales forecasting tool, take a Microsoft Power BI course, and earn a Lean Six Sigma Yellow belt certificaiton.

I had the opportunity to learn the operations workflow in the Appleton RDC. After learning all the different functions, I worked with the team supervisors to streamline and rewrite all of the work instructions. Additionally, I utilized predictive data analytics to create a schedule of how much product comes to the warehouse, when, and from what carrier. This provided the necessary data to optimize scheduling for the receiving staff, and reduce overtime costs. Furthermore, I helped to lead our intern group project of developing a new tour of the warehouse for new employees and customers. The tour now follows the workflow from receiving to shipping.
