As the Founder and Program Director of Carter Elite, a recently established 501(c)(3) nonprofit travel basketball team for underprivileged youth in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I am dedicated to providing opportunities for young men to excel both athletically and personally. Carter Elite is a independent travel basketball team, and our unique approach sets us apart. We are entirely self-supported through external donations, ensuring that no talented player is left behind due to financial constraints.Our mission at Carter Elite is clear: to offer young men the chance to secure college scholarships through exposure to high-level tournaments and to mentor them into becoming leaders in their respective communities. I have harnessed the power of connections and fundraising initiatives, successfully raising over $100,000. These funds not only support our venture but also provide life-changing opportunities for the exceptional young men who benefit from the generosity of our donors.
