Career professional, trained as an underwriter, excelled in sales.I've held many positions in the mortgage banking industry but the best fit for me has always been in sales, mainly wholesale.My position in wholesale lending has always been like owning a small business and I'm proud that I could contribute to the growth of my business partners. My background in underwriting plays a huge part of that success and I've always been interactive with operations staff and today that's more important than ever. As a former software developer, I always become the expert at software and systems, and in this industry account executives have become mere marketing mouthpieces, with low experience and even less knowledge.

After a little banking hiatus, I'm back and thrilled to put my talents and skills to work with Caliber! I believe we have the biggest boom in front of us!

I worked with Mortgage Brokers from coast to coast. I coach train & mentor brokers on how to grow their business with the #1 Wholesale Lender in the country. Originally trained as an underwriter, I'm best known for coaching brokers on how to structure their files properly for maximizing profits and floating through the growing list of government regulations. I have an in-depth knowledge of underwriting and compliance. I'm also very fluid with today's latest technologies. Our motto at United Wholesale Mortgage is, "We Make Lending Easy". Our whole process is geared to that principle. In a high-stress world, lending with UWM is low stress and as close to fun as one will ever experience.

Licensed to conduct transactions in all states. Was certified as VA & Construction specialist, my business model was built around the purchase market and VA business.

Wholesale Account Executive, responsible for building a broker network. I was Michigan's leading Account Executive, consistently producing 40 million or more in sales per month. I was best known for coaching brokers on niche mortgage products. I built an inside support team that was critical to my success. This allowed me to field underwrite and train brokers. I created monthly classes that brokers would travel to from all over the state for specialized training. Between 2004 & 2005, I was ranked in the top 10 Account Executives nationally 10 times, and considering I was in Michigan with smaller loan sizes, this was quite a feat!

Trained as an underwriter, but quickly transferred into an account executive position. Built a loyal network of mortgage brokers, many are colleagues to this day. I became the top producing Account Executive in a 3 State Region for 3 years in a row. I also designed and conducted training programs for World Savings and Loan on a national level.

Alternative Resources was a software product that a partner and I created to serve the sub-prime needs of auto dealers. The software would cross reference the dealers inventory that was downloaded from their main frame, imported data from the three companies that issue values for automobiles, and paired that data with various banks metrics for sub-prime programs, all against the clients credit application. The software would then list all available cars on the auto dealer's inventory, with all the metrics for each automobile, including the proper structuring for each car, for each program that was available. The software took the brain damage out of figuring out the proper structure for the Finance and Insurance Manager who typically runs the department.The bottom line, it helped the dealer to maximize his profit on each scenario. The software is still on the market today.
