Harrison bought my contract from Care Tech to hire me as a Director and to build an I.T. Department that at that time did not exist. Within a 2 year time frame, I was able to upgrade or help the hospital in some of the following ways. *Completed Meaningful Use Stage I audit successfully that prevented hospital from paying back $450,000 *Upgrade one single Windows 2003 Server to Full Blade system with 10+ VMWare servers and SAN. Infrastructure *Upgraded from 10/100 unmanaged switches to Cisco 10/100/1000 managed switches and full wireless coverage including Guest network. *25 year old phone system upgraded to Avaya IP phone system. *Outside clinics moved from 6M DSL and VPN access to Fiber WAN system directly to hospital. *Local accounts upgraded to A.D. accounts with centralized storage of my documents and department drives *Changed an outsourced POP3 email for only 35 users (20M) moved to Exchange 2013 server for 200 users *50 computers with 256M of memory max, upgraded to 150 computers/laptops with min of 2G memory *Responsible for all Project Management and IT BudgetingI was brought on to bring the hospital which, was severely behind in technology, and on a minimal budget bring them up to today's standards. I accomplished that and more.

Senior engineer responsible for 80+ Servers - most built in VMWare. Majority of server were Microsoft Server 2003 & 2008 and started testing Server 2012. Used full Sophos Enterprise AntiVirus and Web Proxy. Main backbone Xiotech SAN Solutions, DELL SAN, HP Blade System. Responsible for implementing and maintaining all hardware. Enterasys Network hardware throughout all facilities. Imprivata Single Sign on Certified. Helped maintain Fuji PACS. Used CommVault Backup with 48 tape backups. Helped with aggressive XP to Windows 7 upgrade for all 700+ workstations. Built the 32bit and 64bit image that was used. All hands on deck project to migrate all workstations in a 3 month period using 5 man team.

Started as PC Technician. Within 3 months, was senior technician. Helped train other technicians in more effiecient methods of troubleshooting/repairing and installing of applications. Helped create a centralized environment for techs vs carrying notebooks of CD's. Pulled network lines throughout hospital. Promoted to Network engineer as soon as position became available. Helpedmaintain all servers, and upgrade hardware when possible. Volunteered to help other Siemens locations that needed assistance

Hired originally to the helpdesk. Answered phones, did majority of plant backups, including reel to reel for a short time, password resets and starting and monitoring all daily mainframe jobs that could not be automated at the time. Promoted to Distributed Systems Analyst (DSA) in 3 months. EDS was required to have 24/7 staff available to help solve any electronic issue that could stop production. DSA was required to have working knowledge of all systems, troubleshooting skills, and know how to contact system owners if issue couldn't be resolved quickly.

Started as a grill/broiler cook became head cook and ran kitchen staff on nights and Sunday mornings in Fairlawn, Oh. Applied for manager and was trained in the Boardman, OH restaurant. Was trained as a kitchen manager due to my experience as a cook. After training, was part of brand new opening in Sharon, PA. After 18 months, was moved to higher volume store in Cuyahoga Falls.
