JOB SUMMARYThe Mission Coordinator provides administrative, analytic, and managerial support to all departments with regards to the expansion and maintenance of the museum's mission: providing educational opportunities through play to children and parents.DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS• Researches and writes grant proposals• Reports grant outcomes to grant making organizations• Organizes funds in correct donor designations• Maintains good standing with State Government agencies regarding charitable donations and gaming activities• Prepares information for Board of Trustees and museum’s Advisory Councils • Works with museum software in regards to education and fund maintenance• Provides analytical and administrative support to the Vice President of Mission• Provides support for museum development events• Teaches field trip classes in the absence of educators• Works with volunteers• Meets with donors and maintains donor relationships
