I began my career in print design learning my trade as a junior designer for clients including Lloyds TSB and WHSmiths. After University I went on to work for couple of small agencies eventually becoming Creative Director of a team of 15 designers and developers. Shortly before I left this agency was awarded a Drum 100 award.For BT Vision (Now BTTV) I worked on the graphic design for their [then] new TV service. Working between London and Bath. At Future PLC my role was to introduce UX best practice to the existing portfolio of digital products (TechRadar, CreativeBloq, T3, ComputerArts .NET among many others) - Rapid prototyping & Usability testing. This included launching all magazines into an iPad Newsstand edition which at the time accounted for 40% of all Apple Newsstand purchases. As I moved onto Somo I worked with many household names, including a large website overhaul for Audi.co.uk [Award winning], The EasyJet app, Interactive event installations for BP and OneSubSea as well as running Research, usability sessions, client workshops and sprints for lots of other brands including Samsung, DeBeers, Bosch and Waitrose among others. After 2 years contracting in New York [mainly remotely], and for Somo - working with MEC Audi of America and lunching new car sales Cinch [British Car Auctions] I decided to join CrowdComms - a fast growing startup in the events industry. They needed an experience, flexible person to come in, grow the team in the right places, put in place agile processes and be versatile enough to cope with Creative Direction, UX Direction and Product Direction.
