The UN Information Center in Washington, DC represents the Secretary-General and the UN Secretariat Staff, serving as a resource to those in the Washington policy-making community as well as across the broader United States who are interested in the work of the UN system.

Support the Head of Center in efforts to raise the profile of the work of the OECD with the U.S. Congress, Executive Branch agencies and other relevant constituencies

Led the OECD's efforts to deepen understanding of, and appreciation for the work of the organization across the United States and Canada. Focus areas include market-based economic growth, anti-corruption, fiscal policy, regulatory reform, trade, education and development cooperation. Serves as a liaison with executive branch departments and ministries that drive the work of the OECD through the organization's committee processes. Acts as a resource to Congressional members and staff, ensuring access to OECD analyses and data. Works to raise the OECD's profile across the broader Washington policy community including partners in the private sector, organized labor, academia, think tanks and the media.

Supports the OECD Washington Center in raising the profile of the OECD's work with key policy-makers in the Executive Branch, the Congress, and the broader Washington policy community.

The U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) is a broad-based influential network of 400 businesses and NGOs; national security and foreign policy experts; and business, faith-based, academic and community leaders in all 50 states who support a smart power approach of elevating diplomacy and development alongside defense in order to build a better, safer world. Mr. Davis managed the day-to-day operations of the organization, overseeing financial, personnel, communications and outreach activities.

Will Davis served as the Director of the United Nations Development Program’s Washington Representation Office. As the UN's global development network, UNDP is on the ground in more than 170 countries, linking developing nations to the knowledge, experience, and resources they need to build better lives for their people. UNDP's Washington Representation Office acts as a liaison with the U.S. government, including the U.S. Congress, as well as think tanks, NGOs, media, and the academic, diplomatic, and business communities, informing them about UNDP's role, capabilities, programs, and results.

From 2005 to 2011, Mr. Davis was the Director of the United Nations Information Center in Washington, DC. In this capacity, he was the United Nations Secretariat’s senior representative in Washington, serving as a spokesman for the organization and working with officials in the Executive Branch, the Congress, the media, civil society and the business community to further the relationship between the UN and its largest contributing Member state, the United States.

Before joining the UN, Mr. Davis was the Director for Global and Functional Affairs in the State Department’s Bureau of Legislative Affairs. Mr. Davis oversaw the Department’s interaction with the Congress on global priorities such as international organizations, human rights, and refugee affairs. He led a staff of ten foreign policy professionals who served as liaisons with the Congress. Mr. Davis was also the Department’s senior legislative adviser on relations with Congress regarding the Secretary of State’s Office of Reconstruction and Stabilization.

From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Davis was the Deputy Head of the Public Affairs Division for the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), an international organization based in Paris, France. Mr. Davis served as the OECD’s main liaison with the private sector, organized labor, non-governmental organizations, and parliamentarians. He was also instrumental in establishing the now annual OECD Forum, one of the world’s largest high-level civil society/government summits.The OECD is an inter-governmental organization headquartered in Paris with 30 member states from Europe, Asia and North America

• Led all aspects of the OECD’s outreach in the United States and Canada, including regular contact with senior officials throughout the U.S. federal government, the U.S. Congress, the media, the private sector and civil society.• As U.S. spokesman, raised profile of OECD’s work in the media, holding news conferences, drafting and issuing news releases, placing opinion pieces, responding to journalists’ inquiries, and organizing interviews for the Secretary General and other senior OECD officials. Resulted in OECD education work featured on front page article of NY Times and regular use of OECD data in Washington Post features.• Represented the OECD to the Congress and built support on Capitol Hill for the U.S. government’s annual $50+ million contribution to the OECD.• Planned missions of the OECD Secretary General and senior OECD staff to Washington, accompanying the Secretary General to meetings with Cabinet Secretaries and other senior officials.

• Served as the State Department’s liaison with the Commerce, Justice and State Appropriations Subcommittees in the House and Senate.• Advised the Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs and other senior State Department officials on legislative issues pertaining to State Department operations, the United Nations and other international organizations, peacekeeping, and reorganization of the foreign affairs agencies.• Led legislative aspects of the Department’s response to terrorist bombings of US Embassies in Africa.

• Worked closely with the President's National Security Advisers and other senior White House staff including the Vice President’s Office, the National Economic Council, the Office of Management and Budget, and U.S. Trade Representative to set and achieve legislative priorities in international affairs.• Maintained personal contact with large number of members and staff from the Congressional leadership, and the Appropriations, budget, foreign policy, trade and defense committees. Served as White House liaison with members and Congressional staff to negotiate legislation, and inform them of Administration foreign policy positions and initiatives during hearings, mark ups, floor debate and conference committees.• Coordinated inter-agency legislative efforts with State, Treasury, Defense, and Justice Departments on major foreign policy legislative issues. Areas of focus included: appropriations for international programs, trade and sanctions issues, peacekeeping, counter-narcotics activities, and arms sales.• Helped shape Administration response to legislation affecting countries/regions such as: Bosnia, China, Turkey, Greece, the Middle East, Russia and the New Independent States, Indonesia, North Korea, Burma, Haiti, Central America, the Caribbean and Africa.

Served as primary State Department liaison with the Senate Foreign Operations Appropriations Subcommittee, the subcommittee responsible for providing development, economic and security assistance to the State Department and other U.S. foreign aid agencies. Also served as liaison with the Senate Budget Committee
