Completions Engineer (Feb 2018 – Present) Designed and executed toe preps, completions, drill outs, and flow back operations for Permian and Eagle Ford assets. Continuously seeking and implementing new techniques that reduce down time between stages and capital cost. Aided supply chain in managing sand, trucking, and water logistics. Worked with completions optimization team on new designs to increase new well performance. Completed EP Energy’s Professional development by rotating through three disciplines of engineering. Production Engineer – Uintah Basin Performed detailed analysis on current artificial lift methods to determine best options for existing wells and new completions. Day to day operations included well surveillance to maintain base production. Responsible for writing procedures and overseeing operations on multiple work over rigs to optimize production.Drilling Engineer – Eagle Ford Performed all design work and managed daily operations of Nabors drilling rig in the Eagle Ford asset. Focused on efficiencies and bit performance to decrease drill time while maintaining a tight target window. Performed analysis of oil based mud system to prevent fluid loss and increase drilling performance.Reservoir Engineer – Eagle Ford Involved in EP Energy’s long range planning process to determine most viable future drilling locations based on economic sensitivities using decline curve analysis and rate transient analysis. Performed field wide look-back to find optimal well spacing, proppant/fluid loading, lateral length, etc to increase value of drilling inventory. Also aided in SEC type curve support for reserves booking.
