Led weekly tutorials (guided problem sessions) for two classes of 12 Calculus I undergraduate students, and marked their biweekly written assignments, as well as those of six Linear Algebra I classes.

I worked with a diverse team of students and university staff to run COVID-19 Lateral Flow Test centres. Roles I worked included assisting test takers, cleaning and preparing test booths, test kit building and reception. LFT test centres were high-pressure environments which demanded strong communication and teamwork among staff. I maintained the highest hygiene standards to protect against transmission of the virus for test takers, and protect the wider body of the university from the virus by catching new cases early.

I tutored maths for GCSE and A-level students both one-to-one and for groups of three. I focused on building a strong mathematical intuition in my students, helping them deeply understand concepts rather than memorising methods which they could not apply to new situations. This helped them develop better problem-solving abilities across a broad range of topics, and feel more confident approaching unseen material.
