Involved in various climate initiatives across the company including:• Working on FCDO, DEFRA, KfW proposals for funding. This includes writing some technical sections on some of the bids.• Writing Social Value responses around environmental protection for FCDO and DEFRA tenders. Helped to write a social value response for a successful tender.• Collecting and manipulating emissions data to calculate the businesses carbon emissions and updating the company's Carbon Reduction Plan.• Organising and managing event at COP27 in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt.• Conducting research on how a programme could diversify its funding streams by analysing both private and public sector climate funding. • Managing and updating a roster of experts for a social protection technical assistance facility.• Shadowed project managers in their management of climate-related initiatives, leading some meetings with the donor and delivery team.
