Currently I am part of a team that manages the data infrastructure for Terlato Wine Group. Our team manages and monitors on-premise data centers in Illinois and several satellite locations, along with supplementary cloud infrastructure. At NCR, I provided remote support and field service to our Aloha Point of Sale solution customers. I also performed software setup and configuration, equipment staging, hardware repair, application debugging and troubleshooting. Other tasks included:Configuration and integration of application with Microsoft SQL databases.Installation and configuration of firewalls (Watchguard XTM, Sonicwall).Windows-based workstation/server troubleshooting (Windows 7, Server 2012).LAN/WAN troubleshooting. Ethernet cabling and repair. Cisco AP troubleshooting, installation, and configuration.

At Walgreens, I had the opportunity to work in one of their major data centers, as well as their security operations center. Some of my duties there included:Assisting on site technicians with T1 line hardware (smartjack, Adtran CSU/DSU) troubleshooting and cutovers.Cisco BGP and point to point monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting. Windows-based DVR configuration and troubleshooting. Monitoring and troubleshooting of burglary and fire suppression systems.

At CastleRock, I supervised our support desk for commercial and residential physical fire and security systems customers. I started as a technical support specialist, then worked my way up to team lead, and finally supervisor in the span of one year. I had the opportunity to work with various intrusion and fire detection devices from multiple vendors including Honeywell, GE, and DSC. I handled escalated technical and customer issues and was involved in the building of our national field service network as we expanded into different markets.
