IRATA L3: During my years at QTS I have worked may way from level 1 tolevel 3 in IRATA working on various different sites from geotechnical,structure repairs and vegetation management. Working as a IRATA level 3 Ihave accumulated skills in working as a team and group organisation todeliver a high standard of work, all while keeping safety a priority.COSS: As COSS (controller of site safety) I supervised various workers onthe railway infrastructure and set up and maintained a safe system of work.In doing this I keep all staff safe from any train movements and otherpotential hazards such as overhead power cables. Also, in this job I have tomeet with various other safety critical staff to discuss and plan everythingis set up and in place before any of my staff can go near or on the line tostart work.MC/CC: In this role I am solely responsible for machine movements whileon and off track. Similar to COSS it is me who is responsible to ensure thatthe machine and the task is supervised safely. Various lifting operations areplanned and implemented, as well as transporting other plant and materialto site which is vital for project completion.
