The training system unwires the effects of our colonial education system through collective co-creation of regenerative climate solutions that integrate justice and a deep reconnection to earth for guidance. The training system has launched 150 climate projects in North America, Asia, and Africa. The training integrates political strategy, somatic awareness, reconnection with local ecosystems, healing, organizing across race and class, and community building. Over 10 years, my work included: • Building a leadership system with operations in 28 counties.• Statewide policy development and strategic planning.• Legislative liaison for the Adult Education system that changed hundreds of policies and three laws. • Organizing and leading a coalition of 35 NGOs, colleges, and schools working to address issues of poverty and access to education. • Action research programs to discover and foster indigenous and local leadership development methods in Mexicano, Native American, Latino, and multicultural urban settings.• Community led teacher training programs that reached 40% of all teachers in the Adult Basic Education System.• I facilitated community vision circles for over 9,000 people.• The production of three training manuals that were used in several other states. • Community forums with local government and service providers on youth development, policing practices, crime, education and economic development. • A beautiful variety of innovative projects, including a touring political theater troupe, documentaries, magazines, and Native American healing ceremonies.
