25 years building and managing a resource base in support of a nonprofit organization helping homeless people transition off the street into permanent housing. Managed budget growth from $38,000 in 1994 to $10,000,000 in 2020. Helped lead organizational transformation from service learning focus to direct service provision with ongoing direction around increasing quality of service and the initiation of new program directions. Over saw the growth of agency work force from 2 to 50 FTE, managed through 4 location changes including the capital campaign and financing for JOIN's permanent home of the last 10 years.Now applying that experience to a new effort with Home First Development Partners, working with first time developers to provide turn key development for them and help them access the equity in their potential projects.Short term goal is to help create the back office systems that will keep the lights on and the doors open, while enabling strategic growth and increase valued added to our clients. We know affordable housing is a critical need. We also know thus far that we have not yet unleashed the power of private capital in helping our community respond to this need. I'm excited by the opportunity to play a part in bringing us all together on this front. Government will continue to play an ongoing critical role, but I believe that there are more among us that would use their capital to do good than conventional wisdom would have us believe.
